I am SO super behind in blogging. I accept that I will never catch up. I got home from Galilee tonight and I'm off to Eilat for snorkeling tomorrow. I am DEAD tired. Here are some pics from the holiday Purim a few weeks ago:
Purim is a Jewish holiday, you can look it up if you really want. But for now, all you need to know is that it is a mix between Mardi Gras and Halloween. I sat in front on the taxi ride to Benyahuda street where all the parties happen, which made me the money collector. Taxi's usually cost 7 sheks ($1.50) each way, but you kind of just have to pay it in order to have the fun times. Anyway, the taxi driver was really funny and we joked around a ton on the way over, and I gave him a little tip with the mula collected from the back of the van.
This holiday is a mix between Mardi Gras and Halloween! It was the night before 2 finals, so we worked extra hard beforehand and then went out to play on the night of Purim :) I just found some random clothes in my closet and called myself a gangster. The best part was when I found a real gangster and had a mini dance off... right in front of Brother Brown. I don't think the JC director was too thrilled about that. Oops. Then I taught Brother Brown how to make a gangster face. He is still working on the lip formation.

Oh boy. You are a funny one. :) Is it at all scary going into the city late at night like that? how many have to be in a group when you go out at night?
Call me a pessimist, but I don't think Brother Brown will ever pull off a gansta face!
Bro. Brown has got it DOWN! His is the MOST authentic G-face I've EVER seen!
Way to dance off, Puffy-G.
Looks like Bro. Brown is well on his way. Maybe he needs to add a little limp and a head bobblewobble. Yeah baby!
Statement: this holiday will henceforth be celebrated in Provo.
