A highlight for sure was the second stop on our "Shephelah" field trip. There we were joined by a group of “Israeli war babes” as Money likes to call them. These girls were running through a program to get a handle on ancient war sites in Israel.

We were climbing to the top of a tel (hill) and a man helping with their program was dressed in a toga and yelling at us in Arabic to “GET INTO THE CITY. WE ARE UNDER SIEGE! “ Misunderstanding that we were NOT part of this role play, the man yelled with greater ferocity and used raging body language to covey the intensity of the ancient event their group was re-enacting. Us BYU students calmly walked toward him, attempting to explain that we are English-speaking Americans. The closer we got, the more ferocious his warnings became! Although we don’t understand Arabic, we knew exactly what he wanted us to do. But, we refused to rush our experience. Once our teacher Br. Wilson arrived on the scene, he explained to the toga man that we are not part of his group, and that the Israeli war babes would arrive in about 15 minutes. One girl in my group asked the toga man to be friends on Facebook ☺

That's pretty funny. Were the war babes in togas too?
War babes, huh? Is that some spin off of Amazon women? Wouldn't want to pay the price to get into that club. Pound of flesh and all... yikes.

So did he ever calm down? And did he accept your friend's offer?
